It has been said that Chopin's waltzes weren't meant for dancing, but the composer's great interpreter, Arthur Rubinstein, gives it a shot in this collection. With little rubato, Rubinstein addresses the dense right hand ornamentations with grace uncharacteristic of Romantic interpretations, offering an insight into such favorites as the "Valse brilliante, in A Minor.
