If anyone can rival the new, mature Madonna, it's Seal. In this age when marketers prefer to direct music at narrow audiences, Seal combines Pop, R&B, rap and moody rock with a down-tempo dance vibe. While Seal is a strong front man, famed producer Trevor Horn appears to be an equal partner in sculpting his luxurious sound. But nothing about this pop star is business as usual. Like Sade, his fellow one-named countrywoman, Seal takes long breaks between recording sessions, letting his hits build over a period of months.
