STEFAN GROSSMAN Vinyl Records and CDs

stefan grossman

Brooklyn-born guitarist Stefan Grossman spent his teens and early twenties hanging out with the Reverend Gary Davis, an acoustic blues guitarist and singer with a deserved reputation as a master of the form. Grossman developed an encyclopedic knowledge of early Acoustic Blues, and has since put out a series of highly influential How to Play Blues Guitar records on his own Kicking Mule label. Along the way, he's also released a large number of records -- on his own and with artists such as John Renbourn and Mike Cooper -- that display his pristine fingerpicking and all-around wonderful playing.
