If you haven't heard of him, Andrew Gold is the mastermind behind songs like "Thank You for Being a Friend" (theme song for The Golden Girls) and the Mad About You theme. He also arranged and played on many of Linda Ronstadt's hits in the 1970s, most notably "You're No Good." Indeed, it's impossible to avoid this artist's work if you're over the age of 15.
