Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, Pepper's Ghost plays the sort of finely-tunedpop rock bands like Cheap Trick and the Cars did when they dominated the airwaves in the 1970s and '80s. Fun, fun, fun, with big guitars and a slight, inoffensively modern slant. If the Strokes weren't hip and their music wasn't a re-packing of post-punk but retained the immediate charm that that "Is This It" song had, they would be Pepper's Ghost.
