Peter Moon performed with Palani Vaughan in the 1960's. He achieved wider fame in Hawaiʻi as a member of Sunday Manoa along with Robert Cazimero and Roland Cazimero. In the late 1970's and into the early 21st Century, Peter Moon led The Peter Moon Band with some variations of other musicians. Sunday Manoa as configured by Peter Moon and the Cazimero brothers recorded three albums. The Peter Moon Band recorded at least 12 albums. 2004: Winner of a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Lifetime Achievement Award under the auspices of the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts.
