This female-fronted band combines Bluegrass instrumentation, Punk rock attitude and sardonic songwriting in a manner that's completely natural and unaffected. One of the first bands to release a record on Chicago's Alt Country stalwart label Bloodshot, the band's rustic sound is deceptive -- something hard-edged and urban hides out amidst the high, lonesome harmonies and rolling banjo.
