Remler was a gifted jazz guitarist who released a strong series of Hard Bop albums on the always reliable Concorde label. She abandoned her Wes Montgomery influenced style for one closer to Pat Metheny on her last release, This Is Me (1990). A sunny faced drug addict, she died of a heart attack at the tender age of 32.
