With his minimalist, funky style, Armando helped develop House in its nascent stages. Introduced to the scene as a teen, this youthful all-star DJ in demand was spinning throughout the Windy City in the mid '80s and early '90s. A club sensation who fed the fire that led to the U.K.'s Acid House eruption, Armando released several classic cuts and participated in the establishment of the business side of the dance music industry during his career.
