New Seller Q & A

Q: I sold a record 6 days ago. The buyer is paying via PayPal. I have not heard a peep from him. How long must one reasonably expect to wait before canceling the transaction?

A: How long you wait before you cancel an order is totally up to you. Most sellers usually wait a few days, and then send a follow up email (outside of the MusicStack system) asking the buyer if they are still interested. Then if they still don't hear anything from them in a few days, they cancel the order.

Q: Can a buyer leave a negative comment/feedback on a canceled order?

A: No. Feedback/comments can only be left on orders that are completed and marked SHIPPED.

Q: I am about to cancel an order because of non payment after 17 days. Is there anything specific I need to do to ensure I do not get charged a commission?

A: Nothing needs to be done by you. Commission fees are only charged when you have completed an order and have marked the order as SHIPPED.

Q: Do I get a "Not Available" mark against my account when I cancel an order due to non-payment from a buyer?

A: No. You only get a non-available mark against your account/statistics when you don't have an item in stock and tell the customer the order isn't available. None paying customer have no effect on your seller statistics.
