How do I receive payment from the buyer?

After an order comes in for an item you must confirm the order. This means you must follow up with the buyer and let them know the item they ordered is available or not and tell them the final price they need to pay with shipping.

You do this using the MusicStack online Orders page. On this page you select the order number and on the next page that comes up you will then select that proper status of each item ordered (Available, Not Available, etc.) and enter the shipping amount.

If the buyer selected to pay with Paypal a link a Paypal payment link will be automatically created and included as part of the invoice that will be generated when you update the order.

If the buyer selected a non-paypal payment method for payment, you must also tell the buyer how to best pay you using the "notes to the buyer" section.

When you are all done, click the "Update Order" button at the bottom of the page an invoice will be created and emailed to the buyer.

If after sending the invoice to the buyer you don't receive payment in a few days, it is best to try sending another invoice to the buyer by clicking the "Update Order" button, or try following up directly with the buyer using their email address and sending a personalized message asking if they still want the order.

Sometimes spam filters or ISPs block the MusicStack invoice emails so the buyer is waiting to pay you, but never getting the invoice. By sending directly from your email account you can often get in contact with the buyer when MusicStack emails are blocked and ask for payment for the order.
